Role & Responsibilities

• Drive revenue through the booking and delivery of beauty services, client consultation, and retail product sales
• Perform licensed beauty services including makeup application, waxing, and false lash application in accordance with Sephora's service standards
• Cultivate and maintain product and trend knowledge to educate clients and recommend personalized solutions
• Maintain active licensure and rigorously adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
• Foster an inclusive, supportive team environment and promote Sephora's culture of belonging and empowerment
• Ensure compliance with company policies and contribute to a secure, welcoming shopping experience
• Meet minimum weekly shift commitments and demonstrate reliability during peak retail periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Current, active beauty license for waxing, makeup, and lash application services issued by the state of California
• 1–3 years of professional experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality, or client-facing service environment
• Advanced knowledge of beauty products, treatments, industry trends, and application techniques
• Demonstrated excellence in personalized client service and relationship development
• Ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented, team-based environment
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

Skills

Experience

1–3 years in a comparable beauty services role, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing service environment.

Education

Active, valid beauty or cosmetology license issued by the state of California, demonstrating qualification to provide waxing, makeup application, and lash services.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 22.30 to USD 25.65 per hour.
