Sephora South Windsor (CT) seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time) to provide makeup, waxing and client services. $21.75–$28.00/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver face-to-face beauty services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application.
  • Advise clients on product selection, demonstrate product usage and translate service results into retail sales and rebooked appointments.
  • Maintain active state licensure and adhere to health, safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
  • Contribute to store performance by meeting individual sales and service targets and participating in merchandising and operational tasks.
  • Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative environment and represent Sephora’s standards for customer experience and brand presentation.
  • Work a flexible schedule that covers peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays) and meet minimum weekly shift requirements.

Qualifications

  • Active cosmetology, esthetician or equivalent license valid in the state where services are performed (waxing, makeup and false-lash application).
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or a client-facing service role.
  • Deep working knowledge of beauty products, trends, techniques and the ability to translate that knowledge for clients.
  • Proven capability to deliver personalized client service, build rapport and drive repeat business through rebooking.
  • Reliable availability for scheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays; punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience

1–3 years of hands-on experience in beauty services or a client-facing retail/hospitality role; prior experience providing makeup, waxing and lash application preferred.
