Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in the Beauty Studio including makeup application, waxing, and false-lash application according to Sephora’s service menu.
- Drive sales and service conversion by booking and rebooking client appointments, recommending product solutions, and closing retail transactions.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and beauty trend awareness to educate and inspire clients.
- Keep state licensure current and strictly adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols during all services.
- Support a collaborative, inclusive store environment and comply with Sephora policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Be reliably available for scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends and holiday periods; meet minimum weekly hours for part-time scheduling.
Qualifications
- Active state license authorizing waxing, makeup and false-lash application where services will be performed.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or client-facing service environments preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and provide personalized service.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and application techniques.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and meet required minimum weekly hours.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in retail, beauty services, hospitality or another client-facing environment; entry-level candidates with the required licensure and demonstrable client service aptitude will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited cosmetology/esthetician program and any state-required certifications for licensure.
