Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services (makeup application, waxing, false eyelash application and other services on Sephora’s Beauty Services menu) in the Beauty Studio.
- Drive retail results by recommending and selling products, rebooking clients for future services and meeting store targets.
- Provide personalised client consultations to educate customers on products, techniques and routines.
- Maintain active state licensure and rigorous sanitation, health and safety protocols at all times.
- Support a culture of inclusion and teamwork, collaborating with colleagues to create an engaging and welcoming store experience.
- Adhere to Sephora policies and standards to ensure a safe, secure and enjoyable shopping environment.
- Maintain reliable attendance and availability for scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Active cosmetology, esthetician or equivalent state license authorising waxing, makeup and false lash services in California.
- 1–3 years of experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or other client‑facing roles; direct experience performing makeup, waxing or lash services preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality, personalised client service and to build repeat clientele.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, techniques and current trends with the ability to train and inform customers.
- Punctual, dependable and able to meet minimum weekly shift/hours requirements for part‑time scheduling.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
1–3 years in retail, beauty services, hospitality or a comparable client‑facing environment; experience performing makeup, waxing or lash services preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; state cosmetology/esthetician license required.
