Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio, including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application, in accordance with Sephora’s service menu and hygiene standards.
  • Drive sales and service results by recommending products, rebooking services, and converting consultations into purchases.
  • Maintain active licensure for required services and consistently follow health, safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Provide personalized client consultations to educate and inspire, building long‑term client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative store culture and uphold Sephora’s policies to create a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
  • Be available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays) and meet required attendance and punctuality standards.

Qualifications

  • Active, state‑recognized license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application in the state where services will be performed.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, or in retail, hospitality or client‑facing service environments.
  • Demonstrated product knowledge across cosmetics, skin and beauty tools, with up‑to‑date awareness of industry trends and techniques.
  • Proven ability to deliver individualized client service and to build repeat clientele.
  • Reliable availability for required weekly shifts and flexibility to work peak retail hours.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Experience
