Sephora seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time) in San Jose to deliver beauty services and client consultation at Santana Row.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver makeup, waxing, and beauty services listed on Sephora's Beauty Services menu while maintaining full licensure and health standards
- Drive sales and service rebooking by providing consultative, personalized client guidance and education
- Maintain current knowledge of beauty trends, products, and techniques to educate and empower clients
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that celebrates diversity and promotes team unity
- Uphold Sephora operational standards, company policies, and safe shopping practices
- Meet minimum weekly shift requirements (15–29 hours for part-time) with availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup application, and false lash application services
- 1–3 years of professional experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality, or client-facing service roles
- Demonstrated expertise in beauty products, services, trends, and application techniques
- Strong ability to build lasting client relationships and deliver personalized service

- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
Skills
Experience
