Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver in‑store beauty services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu (makeup application, waxing, false lash application and other licensed services) with impeccable technique and hygiene.
  • Drive sales and client retention by recommending products, closing transactions, and rebooking beauty appointments.
  • Maintain active professional licensure and strictly adhere to health, safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Provide personalised consultations, educate clients on product usage and trends, and build lasting client relationships.
  • Contribute to a culture of inclusiveness and teamwork, supporting store goals and brand standards during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

Qualifications

  • Active, state‑approved license enabling provision of waxing, makeup and false lash application where services are performed.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a comparable role or in retail, hospitality or client‑facing service environments.
  • Demonstrated product knowledge across makeup, skincare and beauty treatments and an ability to translate trends into client recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills; reliable punctuality and ability to meet scheduled shift requirements.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, bending and hands‑on service tasks for extended periods.
