Sephora in San Diego (One Paseo) seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part Time) to provide makeup, waxing and client services.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional beauty services on the Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application.
  • Drive sales and service results through product recommendations, retail transactions and proactive rebooking of appointments.
  • Maintain active professional licensure and adhere strictly to health, safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Stay current on beauty trends, product knowledge and techniques to educate and inspire clients.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative store culture and follow Sephora’s operational standards and policies.
  • Meet scheduling requirements and be available for peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash application in the state of employment.
  • 1–3 years' experience in a similar beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or service environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting client relationships and deliver personalized service.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable punctuality and ability to meet required minimum weekly shifts/hours.

Experience

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 22.30 to USD 25.65 per hour.
