Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform professional beauty services in the Beauty Studio, including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application according to company protocols.
  • Deliver personalized client consultations to recommend products and services, educate clients on trends and techniques, and build lasting relationships.
  • Drive sales and rebook clients for follow-up services to contribute to store revenue and service targets.
  • Maintain active state licensure, adhere to hygiene, health and safety standards, and follow Sephora operational policies.
  • Support a collaborative, inclusive store environment and contribute to team goals and merchandising standards.
  • Work flexible retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays; ensure punctuality and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Active cosmetology/esthetician license or equivalent authorizing waxing, makeup and false eyelash services in the state of California.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a beauty services role, or in retail, hospitality or client-facing service environments.
  • Strong product knowledge across skincare, makeup and lash categories, with up-to-date awareness of beauty trends and techniques.
  • Proven ability to deliver consultative, service-driven client experiences and to meet sales/service targets.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on services for extended periods.
  • Availability for required minimum weekly shifts and peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

Experience
