Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver makeup, waxing, and beauty services according to Sephora's Beauty Services menu and maintain active state licensure
- Drive sales by rebooking beauty services and selling retail products to clients
- Educate clients on beauty trends, product knowledge, and application techniques to empower informed purchasing decisions
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment while maintaining Sephora brand standards
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene protocols across all service interactions
- Meet weekly scheduling requirements and maintain punctuality during peak retail operations (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Qualifications
- Active state license to provide waxing, makeup, and false eyelash application services
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality, or client-facing service roles
- Strong product knowledge and demonstrated expertise in beauty services and current trends
- Ability to deliver personalized client service and cultivate lasting client relationships
- Proven collaborative team player thriving in goal-oriented retail environments
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of experience in a similar beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or customer service environments. Entry-level candidates with relevant licensure and demonstrated beauty expertise are encouraged to apply.
Education
Active state license required for waxing, makeup, and false eyelash application services in Utah. Relevant beauty or cosmetology certification preferred.
