Sephora Salt Lake City seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time). Provide makeup, waxing and lash services; $19.80–$26.00/hr in-store at 50 S Main St.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional in-store beauty services — including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application — according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu and hygiene protocols.
  • Consult with clients to assess needs, recommend products and services, and create personalized service plans that drive rebookings and long-term client relationships.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets by selling products, rebooking services, and promoting Sephora loyalty initiatives.
  • Maintain active licensure for required services, adhere to health & safety standards, and ensure treatment areas meet company sanitation requirements.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive store environment by supporting colleagues, sharing product knowledge, and participating in store trainings and brand events.
  • Be reliably available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays; meet minimum weekly shift/hours for part-time classification.

Qualifications

  • Active state license to perform waxing, makeup application and false-lash services in the state of employment.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a beauty services role or in retail, hospitality or client-focused service environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver tailored client consultations and build repeat clientele.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks associated with the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
  • Punctuality, reliable attendance, and flexibility to work retail peak hours.

Experience
