Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio — makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application — following Sephora’s service menu.
- Drive retail results through product sales, rebooking beauty services and achieving store performance goals.
- Provide personalised client consultations, educate clients on products and trends, and build long-term client relationships.
- Maintain active licensure and adhere to health, safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Support an inclusive, collaborative store culture and comply with company policies to ensure a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
- Work flexible retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays; demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance.
Qualifications
- Active state license to provide waxing, makeup and false eyelash application where services are performed.
- Ability to perform professional beauty services consistent with Sephora’s standards and service menu.
- Availability to work retail peak times (nights, weekends, holidays) and meet required weekly shift minimums (Full Time: 30–40 hrs/week).
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining hygiene standards and professional presentation.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service environments is preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant training or licensure may be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; active cosmetology/esthetician license as required by state regulations.
