Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver licensed in‑store beauty services including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Consult with clients to assess needs, provide personalized product and service recommendations, and convert consultations into product sales and rebooked appointments.
- Maintain and renew required professional licensure, follow all health, safety and hygiene protocols, and ensure the Beauty Studio meets company standards.
- Contribute to store performance by meeting service and sales targets, supporting merchandising and product knowledge initiatives, and assisting with inventory and daily store operations as needed.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative environment by supporting teammates, participating in training, and delivering a high-quality, welcoming client experience.
Qualifications
- Active, state‑valid license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash services in the state where services are provided.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a licensed beauty role or in retail, hospitality or customer service.
- Availability for retail peak hours including nights, weekends and holidays; ability to meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts for a part‑time role (15–29 hrs/week).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated client service skills, punctuality and commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

1–3 years in a licensed beauty services role or in retail, hospitality or customer‑facing service environments; experience delivering personalized consultations and achieving sales/service targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of a recognized cosmetology/esthetician program and any required state certifications/licenses.
