Sephora seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor to provide makeup, waxing, and other Beauty Services menu offerings, serve clients, sell products, and support store goals while maintaining licensure and hygiene standards. This is a permanent, part-time role requiring 15–29 hours per week, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays; hourly pay is $18.20–$21.10.
Role & Responsibilities
- Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, serving clients, and selling products.
- Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed on Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients.
- Maintain an active license and uphold health and safety protocols.
- Promote an inclusive culture of openness where everyone feels empowered.
- Follow company policies and Sephora standards to help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Meet the required minimum weekly shifts and hours; work during peak retail periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays; maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
Qualifications
- Hold an active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are performed.
- Have 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
- Be a collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
- Learn quickly and absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
