Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in the Beauty Studio, including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application, following Sephora’s service menu and hygiene standards.
- Provide personalised client consultations to assess needs, recommend products and services, and build lasting client relationships.
- Achieve store performance objectives by selling products, rebooking services, and contributing to daily sales targets.
- Maintain active state licensure and adhere to health, safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Support an inclusive, collaborative store culture, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment by following company policies.
- Be reliably available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application in the state where services will be provided.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service environments.
- Demonstrable product knowledge across makeup, skincare and beauty tools, and an ability to translate trends into client recommendations.
- Availability to work the employer’s required minimum hours for part-time (15–29 hrs/week) and to cover peak trading periods.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in a licensed beauty services role or experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing service positions, with demonstrated ability to deliver appointment-based and walk-in services.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved esthetician or cosmetology program required to obtain and maintain the active license.
