Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application.
- Consult with clients to assess needs, recommend products and services, and provide personalized tutorials and product education.
- Drive sales and rebook beauty services to help achieve store objectives and individual targets.
- Maintain active state licensure and rigorously follow health, safety and sanitation protocols for all services.
- Uphold Sephora brand and store standards to ensure a safe, welcoming and inclusive in-store experience.
- Support teamwork and a collaborative store culture by sharing product knowledge and mentoring peers when appropriate.
- Be reliably scheduled for required shifts, including nights, weekends and holiday periods.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash services where work is performed.
- 1–3 years of client-facing experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or a related service environment.
- Demonstrated product knowledge across skincare, color cosmetics and lash/false-application techniques.
- Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and build repeat clientele.
- Availability for peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and ability to meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and sustain retail/stand work for full shifts.

Experience
1–3 years of client-facing experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or related service roles; prior hands-on experience performing waxing, makeup and false-lash services strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of cosmetology/esthetician training or certification where required by state licensure.
