Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in the Beauty Studio including makeup application, waxing, and false‑lash services according to Sephora’s service menu.
- Achieve store performance goals by rebooking and delivering services, building client relationships, and converting service interactions into product sales.
- Maintain active state licensure for provided services and adhere to all health, safety and hygiene protocols.
- Educate and advise clients on product selection, application techniques and beauty trends to drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture, support colleagues, and uphold Sephora’s customer service and operational standards.
- Work a flexible retail schedule with availability for nights, weekends and holidays and meet the minimum required weekly hours for a part‑time role.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false‑lash application in the state where services are performed.
- 1–3 years of experience in a comparable role or in retail, hospitality, or client‑facing service environments.
- Demonstrated product knowledge across makeup, skincare and related beauty categories and the ability to communicate benefits to clients.
- Proven ability to deliver personalized client service, build rapport and achieve sales or rebooking targets.
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced retail environment with flexible availability; able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
1–3 years in a similar beauty services, retail or hospitality role, with hands‑on experience providing makeup, waxing and/or lash services recommended.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetician or related certification/diploma preferred in addition to required state licensure.
