Sephora Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part-time)

Sephora is a leading global beauty retailer and experiential destination offering a curated assortment of prestige cosmetics, skincare, fragrance and beauty services. As part of the LVMH selective distribution network, Sephora operates high-energy retail and service environments that emphasize product discovery, technical service offerings and ongoing education for client-facing teams.

1. Deliver professional beauty services (makeup, waxing, false-lash application and other services listed in the Beauty Services menu) to clients in the store’s Beauty Studio.
2. Drive sales and service rebookings by educating clients on product benefits, recommending complementary items and converting service interactions into retail purchases.
3. Maintain and apply up-to-date product knowledge and awareness of beauty trends to provide tailored recommendations and tutorials.
4. Ensure all licensure, sanitation and health & safety protocols are current and consistently enforced in the service environment.
5. Contribute to store performance by meeting personal and team sales targets, supporting merchandising and participating in promotional events.
6. Foster an inclusive, client-centric atmosphere by delivering exceptional service and collaborating with colleagues to uphold Sephora standards.

1. Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash application in the state where services are performed.
2. 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service-oriented environments.
3. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and deliver personalized client service; strong consultative selling skills.
4. Reliable availability for scheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays and ability to meet required weekly hours for part-time status.
5. Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, bending and repetitive tasks typical of salon/retail service roles.

1–3 years of experience in a beauty service role or in retail, hospitality, or customer-service environments; demonstrated track record of personalized client service and meeting sales or service targets.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of state-required cosmetology or esthetician program and any education necessary to obtain the required license.
