Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver in‑store beauty services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing, and false-lash application.
- Achieve individual and store sales goals through product sales, service rebooking and personalized client recommendations.
- Educate and advise clients on product selection, application techniques and beauty trends to build lasting relationships.
- Maintain active licensure, comply with health, safety and hygiene protocols, and ensure a sanitized service environment.
- Contribute to an inclusive, team-oriented store culture and follow Sephora’s policies to create a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
- Work scheduled shifts across peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays; ensure punctuality and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Active, state‑issued license to perform waxing, makeup and false‑lash services in California.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a beauty services, retail, hospitality or other client‑facing environment (entry-level candidates with license considered).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build repeat clientele.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform on‑floor service tasks.
- Availability to meet minimum weekly shift/hours for part‑time scheduling (15–29 hrs/week) and work peak retail periods.
