Sephora seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part-Time) in Richmond, VA to perform makeup, waxing and lash services. Hourly pay $19.80–$22.90/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver in-store beauty services listed on Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing, and false eyelash application.
- Provide personalised client consultations to recommend products and rebook services, driving sales and service KPIs.
- Maintain active professional licensure and strictly adhere to health, hygiene and safety protocols.
- Promote an inclusive, team-oriented environment and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience.
- Uphold Sephora operational standards and company policies to ensure a secure and enjoyable retail environment.
- Be reliable and available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice for waxing, makeup, and false eyelash application.
- 1–3 years' experience in a beauty service role or in retail, hospitality, or customer-service environments.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and professional techniques.
- Proven ability to deliver personalised client service and build long-term client relationships.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, bending and hands-on service tasks.
- Availability to meet the role’s minimum weekly shift/hours for part-time scheduling and to work peak periods.

Experience
1–3 years in a beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing service environments, demonstrating client service and sales experience.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
