Sephora Philadelphia (Chestnut St) seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part Time) to provide makeup and waxing services and drive retail sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application according to Sephora’s service menu and hygiene protocols.
- Drive sales performance by recommending products, rebooking services, and converting consultations into product purchases.
- Maintain current licensure and comply with all state health, safety and sanitation standards during service delivery.
- Provide personalized client consultations, educating clients on product usage, trends and regimen recommendations to build long-term relationships.
- Support store operations and Sephora standards by following company policies, promoting a safe shopping environment, and contributing to an inclusive team culture.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash application in the state where services are delivered.
- 1–3 years of experience in a beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or customer-service environments.
- Demonstrable product knowledge across makeup and skincare and awareness of current beauty trends and techniques.
- Ability to meet scheduling requirements including nights, weekends and holiday shifts and maintain punctual, consistent attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in a comparable beauty services role or experience in retail, hospitality or client-facing service positions, demonstrating direct client service and product-selling success.
