Sephora Lansing is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part Time) to provide waxing, makeup and lash services. Hourly $19.80–$22.90/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in the Beauty Studio including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application according to Sephora's service menu.
- Drive in‑store results by selling products, rebooking services and developing repeat client relationships.
- Maintain active state licensure for required services and adhere to health, safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Stay current on beauty trends, product assortments and service techniques to educate and empower clients.
- Support an inclusive, team‑oriented culture and uphold company policies to ensure a safe, welcoming shopping experience.
- Work scheduled shifts during peak retail periods (nights, weekends, holidays) and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash services in the state of employment.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service environments with client‑facing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalised client service and meet retail sales targets.
- Availability for required weekly shifts within the part‑time band (15–29 hrs/week) and for peak retail hours.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Experience
Preferred 1–3 years delivering makeup, waxing or other beauty services, or equivalent client‑facing experience in retail or hospitality.
