Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver in-store beauty services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application.
• Drive sales and service targets through product recommendations, conversions and rebooking of beauty services.
• Maintain current state licensure and consistently follow health, safety and hygiene protocols.
• Provide personalised consultations to educate and empower clients on products, trends and routines.
• Promote an inclusive, collaborative store culture and support team goals and initiatives.
• Adhere to company policies to ensure a safe, secure and welcoming shopping experience.
• Maintain punctuality and reliable availability during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Assist with basic store duties as needed to support a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• Active, state-recognized license enabling provision of waxing, makeup and false eyelash services in the state of California.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service-oriented environments.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, techniques and current trends.
• Proven ability to deliver personalised client service and build lasting client relationships.
• Availability to meet required weekly shifts for part-time scheduling and to work peak retail hours.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Team-oriented, quick learner with strong communication skills.

Skills

Experience

1–3 years' experience in a client-facing role such as retail, hospitality, cosmetology, or related service environments; entry-level candidates with relevant licensure and strong customer skills may be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent typically expected; cosmetology, esthetics or related certification and an active state license required.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24 to USD 27.60 per hour.
