Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services (makeup application, waxing, false eyelash application) according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu and hygiene standards.
- Provide personalised client consultations to assess needs, recommend products and services, and drive product sales and service rebookings.
- Achieve individual and store performance goals through selling, rebooking, and client retention activities.
- Maintain active professional licensure and consistently apply health, safety and sanitation protocols.
- Contribute to an inclusive, team-oriented environment by supporting colleagues, sharing product knowledge, and participating in training.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup, and false eyelash application where services are provided.
- 1–3 years of experience in a licensed beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalised client service and build lasting client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, trends, techniques, and effective product presentation.
- Ability to meet scheduling requirements (availability for nights, weekends, holidays) and to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in a licensed beauty services role or in retail/hospitality, with hands-on experience performing makeup, waxing and eyelash services and delivering one-to-one client consultations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or esthetician certification preferred.
