Sephora Orlando is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part Time) to deliver makeup, waxing and studio services at the Crosslands Shopping Center.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide licensed beauty services at the Beauty Studio (makeup application, waxing, false-lash application and related services) while ensuring client comfort and safety.
- Drive sales and service KPIs by booking and rebooking appointments, recommending products, and converting service interactions into retail sales.
- Maintain active state licensure and rigorously follow sanitation, hygiene and health & safety protocols for all services.
- Deliver personalised client consultations that educate on product usage and beauty techniques to build long-term client relationships.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative store culture and uphold Sephora’s policies to ensure a safe, enjoyable shopping environment.
- Work a flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends and holidays; meet minimum weekly shift/hour requirements and maintain punctual attendance.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash application where services are delivered.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or customer service environments (entry-level candidates with licensure may be considered).
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, trends and service techniques across color cosmetics, skincare and lashes.
- Proven ability to deliver personalised client service and build client loyalty through consultative selling.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing, bending and fine-motor tasks required for beauty services.

Experience
1–3 years of retail, hospitality, or beauty-services experience preferred; entry-level applicants with the required licensure are considered.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred; vocational training or certification in cosmetology, esthetics, or waxing is recommended; state cosmetology/esthetician license required.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
