Sephora Omaha (Village Pointe) seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time) to provide makeup, waxing and client services. Hourly role at Sephora in Omaha, NE.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Drive sales and service revenue by consulting clients, recommending products, rebooking services, and closing transactions.
- Maintain active licensure and strictly follow health, sanitation and safety protocols for all services.
- Educate and inspire clients on product benefits, trends and application techniques to build lasting relationships and repeat business.
- Support a collaborative, inclusive store environment and uphold Sephora’s policies to ensure a safe, welcoming customer experience.
- Work flexible schedules to cover peak retail hours, nights, weekends and holidays and meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application in the state of employment.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service-oriented environments preferred; entry-level candidates with strong licensure and client-service aptitude may be considered.
- Demonstrable knowledge of beauty products, trends and service techniques.
- Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and to build long-term client relationships.
- Reliable availability for scheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays; punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Preferred 1–3 years of direct experience in beauty services or a customer-facing retail/hospitality role; entry-level candidates with required licensure and demonstrable client service skills will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetician or related credential required as evidenced by an active state license.
