Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application according to the services menu.
- Drive sales and store performance through product recommendations, retail transactions and service rebooking to build recurring client relationships.
- Educate and inspire clients with current product knowledge and trend insights to tailor personalized routines and enhance client loyalty.
- Maintain active licensure and adhere strictly to health, safety and sanitation protocols for all services.
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive store culture and support colleagues to meet operational objectives and Sephora standards.
- Maintain punctuality and schedule availability during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and meet minimum weekly shift requirements.
Qualifications
- Active state license authorizing waxing, makeup and false-lash services where services will be performed (required).
- 1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service environments; entry-level candidates with relevant licensure and training may be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build long-term client relationships.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays and meet minimum weekly shift requirements for part-time schedules.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service settings; entry-level candidates with a valid cosmetology/esthetician license and demonstrable skills will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology, esthetics or related vocational certification is preferred along with required state licensure.
