Sephora seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time) in New York City for makeup, waxing, and beauty services. $24–$27.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide makeup application, waxing, and other licensed beauty services as listed on Sephora's Beauty Services menu
- Drive sales and rebook beauty services to achieve store goals and client retention targets
- Educate and empower clients on beauty trends, product knowledge, and personalized recommendations
- Maintain active state licensure and strictly uphold health and safety protocols
- Foster a culture of inclusiveness and teamwork within the store environment
- Ensure punctuality and consistent attendance during assigned flexible shifts
- Lift and carry merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds regularly
Qualifications
- Active state license to provide waxing, makeup application, and false eyelash application services in New York
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar beauty services role, retail, hospitality, or guest-facing service environment
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and application techniques
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting client relationships

- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
