Sephora Licensed Beauty Advisor, part-time position at Fifth Avenue NYC flagship store. Makeup, waxing, and beauty services. $24–$27.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling beauty products
- Perform makeup application, waxing, false lash application, and other services from Sephora's Beauty Services menu
- Educate and empower clients by staying current on beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge
- Maintain active licensure and consistently uphold health, safety, and hygiene protocols
- Foster inclusivity and teamwork by promoting a culture of openness and empowerment
- Uphold Sephora standards by adhering to company policies and ensuring a safe, secure shopping experience
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliable attendance during assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Active beauty license to provide waxing, makeup, and false lash application services in New York State
- 1–3 years' experience in a similar beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or service environments
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and application techniques
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and cultivate lasting client relationships
- Team player with collaborative and goal-oriented mindset
- Quick learner capable of absorbing and sharing product knowledge effectively
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Experience

Education
Active state beauty license required for waxing, makeup, and false lash application services in New York.
