Sephora in New York City seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time) at World Trade Center to deliver waxing, makeup and lash services. $24–$27.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services—makeup application, waxing, and false-lash application—according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu while maintaining strict sanitation and safety standards.
- Drive store results by recommending and selling products, performing services, and rebooking clients to foster repeat business.
- Provide personalised client consultations, educate customers on product use and trends, and build lasting client relationships.
- Maintain active professional licensure and comply with all health, safety, and company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to an inclusive, team-oriented store environment and support daily store operations including merchandising and upkeep.
- Meet scheduling requirements and be available for peak retail hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Active state license to provide waxing, makeup, and false-lash application where services are performed.
- 1–3 years of experience in beauty services or in a retail, hospitality, or customer‑facing role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of beauty products, services, techniques and current trends.
- Proven ability to deliver personalised client service and to build client loyalty.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and sustain periods of standing during shifts.

Experience
1–3 years in a comparable beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or another client-facing environment; experience delivering personalised beauty services and meeting sales/service targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
