Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional in-store beauty services (makeup application, waxing, false-lash application and other Beauty Studio services) in accordance with company service menus and local licensure.
- Drive retail performance by recommending and selling products, rebooking beauty services, and contributing to store sales goals and KPIs.
- Provide personalised client consultations: assess needs, recommend regimens, demonstrate product usage, and build lasting client relationships.
- Maintain active professional licensure and strictly adhere to health, hygiene, and safety protocols for all treatments.
- Keep abreast of emerging beauty trends, product innovations and brand launches to educate clients and upskill peers.
- Model inclusive, collaborative behaviour and contribute to a welcoming in-store environment that reflects Sephora standards and policies.
- Be punctual and reliably available for scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends and holiday peak periods.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup, and false-lash application for services performed in the hiring state.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or client-facing service environments.
- Demonstrated product knowledge across makeup, skincare and lash services, with ability to translate expertise into client recommendations.
- Proven ability to deliver personalised client experiences and build repeat clientele.
- Capacity to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability to work retail peak hours and meet minimum weekly scheduling requirements.

Experience
1–3 years of experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality, or a comparable client-facing environment; prior experience performing makeup, waxing, or lash applications preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training, cosmetology or esthetician certification preferred.
