Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application.
- Drive sales and help achieve store targets through product recommendations, rebooking and service upsells.
- Provide personalized client consultations, educating customers on product benefits, application techniques and regimen recommendations.
- Maintain valid licensure, adhere to hygiene, health and safety protocols, and ensure a clean, welcoming treatment area.
- Foster an inclusive, team‑oriented environment and support store standards and company policies.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- Active, state‑issued license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application in the state of employment.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar beauty, retail, hospitality or client‑facing service role.
- Strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of beauty products, trends and application techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and deliver individualized client service that drives repeat business.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or other client‑service environments, demonstrating client relationship building and sales aptitude.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or esthetician certification preferred and consistent with licensure requirements.
