Sephora — Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time) in Mayaguez, PR. Provide makeup, waxing and beauty services while driving sales and client rebookings.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio—including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application—consistent with Sephora’s service menu.
  • Drive sales and client retention by recommending products, selling retail merchandise and rebooking clients for follow-up services.
  • Maintain active state licensure and adhere to all health, safety and hygiene protocols for service delivery.
  • Educate and inspire clients about product benefits, application techniques and current beauty trends to create personalised experiences.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive store culture by supporting teammates and participating in training and merchandising activities.
  • Be reliably available for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet punctuality and attendance expectations.

Qualifications

  • Active cosmetology/esthetician license valid for providing waxing, makeup and false eyelash services in Puerto Rico.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of beauty products, services, techniques and trends.
  • Proven ability to deliver personalised client service, build rapport and drive repeat bookings.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to perform hands-on services for extended periods.

Experience
