Sephora is hiring a part-time Licensed Beauty Advisor for its Manhattan Village store in Manhattan Beach, California. The permanent role involves beauty services, client care, product sales, and store-goal support; part-time scheduling is 15–29 hours per week, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, serving clients, and selling products.
• Perform makeup, waxing, and other services listed on Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
• Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients.
• Maintain active licenses and uphold health and safety protocols and hygiene standards.
• Promote an inclusive culture of openness where everyone feels empowered.
• Follow company policies and Sephora standards, helping create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours.
• Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Hold an active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are performed.
• Have 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Demonstrate the ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Be a team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
• Be a quick learner with the ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
• Be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
