Sephora Los Angeles (Century City) seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time). Hourly pay $24–$27.60; provide makeup and waxing services.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application.
- Drive sales and service revenue by performing services, selling appropriate retail products and rebooking follow-up appointments.
- Maintain active state licensure and strict adherence to health, safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Provide personalised client consultations, cultivate long-term client relationships and offer product education tailored to individual needs.
- Support an inclusive, collaborative store culture and comply with company policies to ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment.
- Meet scheduling and attendance expectations, including availability for nights, weekends and holidays as required for peak retail operations.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application where services are delivered.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or a client-facing service environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and application techniques.
- Proven ability to deliver personalised client service and to rebook and retain clients.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or a comparable client-facing environment; entry-level candidates with licensure and strong customer service skills considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology/esthetician certification or formal training preferred.
