Sephora (Lancaster, PA) seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part‑time) to provide makeup, waxing and false-lash services at $19.80–$22.90/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio including makeup application, waxing and false-lash/false-application services in accordance with Sephora’s service menu.
- Drive retail results through product sales, service rebookings and personalized client recommendations to achieve store KPIs.
- Maintain active licensure and strictly adhere to hygiene, health and safety protocols and company standards.
- Educate and inspire clients on product benefits, application techniques and relevant beauty trends to build long-term relationships and loyalty.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative store culture and support teammates to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and meet the minimum weekly shift/hour requirements for part-time staffing.
- Perform light physical duties associated with retail operations, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds when required.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-application services in the state of Pennsylvania.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing service environments.
- Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary beauty trends, product assortments and application techniques.
- Proven ability to deliver tailored client service, build rapport and achieve sales/service rebooking objectives.
- Reliable availability for peak retail hours and adherence to punctuality and attendance expectations.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in a beauty services role or in retail/hospitality customer-facing positions, with demonstrable client service and sales experience.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited cosmetology, esthetics or makeup artistry program is preferred.
