Role & Responsibilities

• Provide makeup, waxing, and other licensed beauty services as listed on Sephora's Beauty Services menu
• Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized service and professional consultations
• Educate clients on beauty trends, product knowledge, and techniques to empower informed purchasing decisions
• Drive sales results by achieving store goals through service rebooking and product recommendations
• Maintain active licensure in the state of operation and uphold all health and safety protocols
• Foster inclusiveness and collaboration within the team to create a welcoming environment for colleagues and clients
• Uphold Sephora company policies and contribute to a safe, secure shopping experience
• Meet minimum weekly shift requirements and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance during peak retail operations

Qualifications

• Active state license to provide waxing, makeup, and false lash application services
• 1–3 years of demonstrated experience in a similar beauty services role, or equivalent experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service environments
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and application techniques
• Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and cultivate lasting professional relationships
• Collaborative team orientation with comfort in goal-oriented, fast-paced environments
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Quick learner with strong ability to absorb and communicate product knowledge effectively

Skills

Experience

1–3 years in a similar beauty services role, or equivalent experience in retail, hospitality, or service-oriented environments. Beginner-level experience welcome with demonstrated service orientation and product knowledge.

Education

Active professional beauty license (waxing, makeup, and false lash application) required in the state of operation. No formal educational credentials beyond licensure specified.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
