Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in accordance with Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application.
- Drive sales and client retention by recommending products, selling retail, and rebooking follow-up Beauty Studio appointments.
- Maintain active state licensure and adhere strictly to hygiene, sanitation and health & safety protocols.
- Contribute to an inclusive, team-focused store culture and collaborate to meet store performance targets.
- Uphold company policies and standards to ensure a safe, secure and welcoming shopping experience for all clients.
- Maintain reliable attendance and meet the required minimum weekly shifts/hours; be available for peak retail periods including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Active, valid state license to provide waxing, makeup and false-lash application in the location of employment.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service environments.
- Hands-on proficiency with contemporary beauty techniques, trends and product categories.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service, build rapport and retain clientele.
- Availability for flexible scheduling and consistent punctuality; ability to meet minimum weekly hours for part-time roles.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of client-facing experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or a related service environment; previous experience performing waxing, makeup and lash services preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetician or related certification preferred but not required if active licensure is held.
