Sephora is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time) in Houston, TX. $21.75–$24.88/hr. Beauty services, sales, and client consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products to achieve store goals
- Perform makeup application, waxing, and other services from Sephora's Beauty Services menu with technical expertise
- Educate and empower clients through current knowledge of beauty trends, techniques, and product offerings
- Maintain active licensure, adhere to all health and safety protocols, and uphold hygiene standards
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment and support Sephora's culture of openness and belonging
- Meet minimum weekly shift requirements and demonstrate reliability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Active state license to provide waxing, makeup application, and false lash application services
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar beauty role or in retail, hospitality, or service environments
- Strong, demonstrated product knowledge of beauty services, trends, and techniques
- Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and cultivate lasting relationships
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to thrive in a collaborative, goal-driven environment
- Ability to physically lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in a similar beauty services role or equivalent experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service environments.
Education
Active professional license to provide waxing, makeup application, and false lash services in the State of Texas.
