Sephora Houston (Memorial City) is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time) to deliver makeup, waxing and beauty services.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio, including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application in accordance with the company’s service menu and local licensure requirements.
- Drive store performance by rebooking beauty services, converting consultations into product sales, and achieving individual and store sales targets.
- Provide personalised client consultations, recommend products and routines, and build long-term client relationships through follow-up and retail selling.
- Maintain active professional licensure, adhere to sanitation, health and safety protocols, and uphold Sephora’s store standards and policies.
- Support an inclusive team environment, participate in product education and training, and contribute to a welcoming in-store experience for all clients.
- Work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays and meet the minimum weekly shift/hours expectations for a part-time role.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup application and false eyelash application where services are provided.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or a client-focused service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalised client service and build lasting client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and professional techniques.
- Availability for peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and reliability in attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing duties for extended periods.
