Sephora Houston (Sawyer Heights) seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (part-time) to deliver makeup and waxing services. $21.75–$24.88/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver beauty services at the Beauty Studio including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application in accordance with Sephora’s service menu and hygiene standards.
  • Drive sales and service revenue by recommending products, rebooking beauty appointments and building long-term client relationships.
  • Maintain active professional licensure for services performed and adhere strictly to health, safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Provide up‑to‑date product education and trend insights to clients and colleagues, ensuring a personalized and consultative experience.
  • Support store operations through reliable attendance, flexible scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays) and collaboration within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application in the state of employment.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a comparable beauty services role or in retail, hospitality or other client-facing service environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in beauty products, techniques and current trends and the ability to translate that knowledge into client recommendations.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and deliver personalized client service that drives rebookings and product sales.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and sustain standing for extended periods; punctual and dependable for scheduled shifts.
