Sephora in Houston seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Full Time). Hourly $21.75–$28.00; active cosmetology/esthetician license required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional beauty services from Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, including makeup application, waxing, and false eyelash application.
  • Provide personalized client consultations to assess needs, recommend products and services, and educate clients on usage and routines.
  • Drive sales and service rebookings by converting consultations into purchases and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Maintain current licensure and adhere to all health, safety and sanitation protocols for beauty services.
  • Support store goals and a positive shopping experience by following company policies, participating in team initiatives, and sustaining product knowledge.
  • Work flexible schedules during peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays) and ensure punctuality and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

  • Active, state-appropriate license to provide waxing, makeup and false eyelash services (cosmetology, esthetician, or equivalent).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or other client-facing service environments.
  • Demonstrated product knowledge across makeup, skincare and beauty tools, with the ability to teach and inspire clients.
  • Proven ability to deliver personalized client service, build rapport and drive service/product sales.
  • Availability to meet required weekly shift minimums for a full-time schedule (30–40 hours/week); flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Experience
