Role & Responsibilities

• Perform makeup application, waxing, lash extension, and additional beauty services from Sephora's curated service menu
• Drive sales results and rebook clients by achieving store goals through consultative selling and personalized service recommendations
• Educate clients on beauty trends, product knowledge, and skincare techniques to empower informed purchasing decisions
• Maintain active state licensure and adhere rigorously to health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment and promote a culture of belonging and respect
• Uphold Sephora brand standards, company policies, and store operations to ensure a secure, welcoming shopping experience
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliable attendance, particularly during peak retail periods including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Active state license to perform waxing, makeup application, and lash services in Massachusetts
• 1–3 years of professional experience in a similar beauty services role, or equivalent background in retail, hospitality, or client-facing service environments
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, current trends, and application techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and cultivate lasting professional relationships
• Collaborative mindset with ability to thrive in goal-oriented, team-based settings
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

Skills

Experience

1–3 years of professional experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality, or similar client-facing environments; candidates with strong foundational skills and a demonstrated commitment to excellence are encouraged to apply.

Education

Active professional license for waxing, makeup, and lash services as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
