Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver makeup, waxing, and false lash application services according to Sephora's Beauty Services menu
• Drive store sales targets through service provision, rebooking, and product recommendations
• Educate clients on beauty trends, product benefits, and techniques to empower informed purchasing decisions
• Maintain active state licensure and comply with all health, safety, and hygiene protocols
• Build and sustain lasting client relationships through personalized, attentive service
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment aligned with Sephora's values
• Work flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods during peak operations
• Demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance across assigned shifts

Qualifications

• Active state license for waxing, makeup application, and false lash services
• 1–3 years' experience in a similar beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or service environments
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and application techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and cultivate lasting relationships
• Team-oriented mindset with ability to thrive in collaborative, goal-oriented settings
• Quick learner capable of absorbing and communicating product knowledge effectively
• Physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Skills

Experience

1–3 years of experience in a similar beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or service-oriented environments. Entry-level candidates with relevant licensure and demonstrated client service aptitude will be considered.

Education

Active state license required for waxing, makeup application, and false lash services in Tennessee.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 22.90 per hour.
