Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in the Beauty Studio — including makeup application, waxing, and false eyelash application — in accordance with Sephora’s service menu.
- Provide personalised consultations and product recommendations to achieve sales targets while building lasting client relationships and rebooking follow-up services.
- Maintain active professional licensure, comply with all health, safety and hygiene protocols, and ensure a clean, safe service environment.
- Contribute to store objectives by meeting individual KPIs, supporting merchandising and inventory needs, and participating in store events and promotions.
- Promote an inclusive team environment by collaborating with colleagues, sharing product knowledge, and supporting training initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active cosmetology/esthetician license or equivalent authorisation to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash services in California.
- 1–3 years of experience in a beauty-services role or within retail, hospitality or service-oriented environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in makeup techniques, waxing and lash application, with up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends and products.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role (e.g., standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds).
- Flexible availability to work retail peak hours, including nights, weekends and holidays; dependable attendance and punctuality.

Experience
1–3 years in a beauty-services or customer-facing retail/hospitality role, with proven ability to deliver personalised services and meet sales or rebooking objectives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of cosmetology/esthetician training and active state licensure as required to perform beauty services.
