Sephora Fort Lauderdale seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part‑Time) to provide makeup and waxing services at the River Market store. $19.80–$26/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio including makeup application, waxing and false-lash application according to Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Drive store performance by selling products, rebooking beauty services and contributing to store sales and service targets.
- Provide personalized client consultations to educate and recommend products, demonstrating up-to-date product knowledge and trend awareness.
- Maintain active licensure, adhere to sanitation, health and safety protocols and uphold Sephora’s service standards.
- Foster an inclusive, team-oriented environment and contribute to a positive in-store client experience.
- Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to work peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Active state license permitting waxing, makeup and false-lash services in the state where services are performed.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar beauty services role or in retail, hospitality or customer-service environments.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, application techniques and current industry trends.
- Proven ability to deliver individualized client service and build long-term client relationships.
- Team-oriented, quick learner with strong communication skills and the ability to share product knowledge effectively.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform sustained periods of standing.

Experience
1–3 years in a beauty services role or equivalent experience in retail, hospitality or client-facing service environments, with a demonstrable record of client care and sales contribution.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology/esthetician vocational training or certification is an asset.
