Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in the Beauty Studio including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application according to Sephora’s service menu and hygiene protocols.
- Drive store results by selling products, rebooking beauty services and following up to build lasting client relationships.
- Maintain active professional licensure required by the state and strictly adhere to health, safety and sanitation standards.
- Stay current on beauty trends, brands and product knowledge to educate and inspire clients.
- Support an inclusive, team-focused environment and contribute to a positive customer experience on the shop floor.
- Be available to meet scheduling needs, including nights, weekends and holidays; meet the minimum required weekly shifts/hours for part-time roles.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application in the state where services will be delivered.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality or service-focused environments.
- Proven ability to deliver personalized client service, build client relationships and meet sales/service targets.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, trends and application techniques.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in a beauty advisor, cosmetology/esthetician, retail or hospitality role with direct client service and sales responsibilities.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant cosmetology/esthetician certification or vocational training and required state license.
