Sephora in El Paso, TX is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part Time) to provide waxing, makeup and beauty services — $18.20–$21.10/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver licensed beauty services at the Beauty Studio — makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application per Sephora’s service menu.
- Provide tailored client consultations, educate customers on products and techniques, and recommend complementary merchandise to meet individual needs.
- Book and rebook beauty appointments to drive service revenue and contribute to store sales goals.
- Maintain active state licensure, adhere to hygiene, health and safety protocols, and ensure a clean, compliant service environment.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative team culture; assist peers during peak periods and support store operational standards.
- Be reliably available for scheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays; meet the minimum weekly hours for part-time scheduling.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application where services are performed.
- 1–3 years’ experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or other client-facing roles.
- Deep knowledge of beauty products, trends and application techniques.
- Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting client relationships.
- Strong teamwork orientation, punctuality, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or other direct client-service roles; demonstrated experience delivering in-person beauty treatments and meeting sales or service targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal cosmetology, esthetician or makeup artistry certification and active state licensure required.
