Sephora in El Paso is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor (Part‑Time) to provide makeup and waxing services. $18.20–$24.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services at the Beauty Studio, including makeup application, waxing, and false-lash application according to company service protocols.
- Drive sales and service bookings by recommending products, rebooking clients, and converting consultations into retail transactions.
- Educate and advise clients on product usage, trends and skincare/makeup techniques to create personalized routines and build long-term relationships.
- Maintain active state licensure and rigorously follow hygiene, safety and sanitation protocols for all treatments.
- Contribute to store goals and KPIs through reliable attendance, flexible scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays), and collaborative teamwork.
- Uphold Sephora operational standards and policies to ensure a safe, inclusive and enjoyable client experience.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup services and false-lash application in the state of employment (required).
- 1–3 years’ experience in a beauty services role or customer-facing positions in retail, hospitality or service industries (preferred).
- Demonstrated product knowledge across makeup, skincare and lash/wax services with ability to communicate benefits and techniques to clients.
- Availability to work minimum weekly shifts consistent with part-time scheduling requirements and during peak retail hours.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing service work for extended periods.

Experience
Early-career role; 1–3 years’ experience in beauty services or related customer-facing retail/hospitality roles is preferred. Candidates with strong licensing and demonstrable client service aptitude will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of cosmetology, esthetician or makeup artistry programs and relevant certifications preferred.
