Sephora is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor for a permanent, part-time role of 15–29 hours per week at its Persimmon Place store in Dublin, California. The advisor provides makeup, waxing and other menu services, serves clients, supports store goals through service bookings and product sales, and upholds licensing, hygiene and safety standards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
• Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients.
• Maintain active licenses and uphold health and safety protocols.
• Promote a culture of openness where everyone feels empowered.
• Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Hold an active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
• Have 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Demonstrate the ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Be a collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
• Be a quick learner able to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
• Be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts or hours; part-time schedules are 15–29 hours per week.
• Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
